Karina Lynn has arrived!!!

So, it's been one week since the incredible day my very first grandchild was born!! The Lord and my beautiful daughter, Andrea, have graced this world with Karina Lynne! She is beautiful, tiny, and feisty...so much like her mom. She weighed 5 pounds and 3 ounces at birth and was 20 inches long. Her legs seem to go on forever and she has long graceful fingers, big blue eyes, and deep reddish brown hair.

It took less than a moment to completely change everyone's world. If you are a parent, you can most likely remember that very first moment you saw your child. The air was sucked from your lungs, your heart broke & grew all at once with the amount of love you immediately felt. I had no idea I could love so deeply until the moment I first saw Lauren. And it happened again when I had Andrea and Mathew. It's a tremendous feeling that totally defies words. Andrea felt it immediately. Her gorgeous blue eyes swimming with tears, her look just said it all.

Keith and I are embracing this new feeling of being a grandparent....very awesome, I must say. (Someone said recently, that a grandchild is God's gift to a parent for not killing their children!!! lol ) She's a tremendous gift, for sure!! We are so totally enjoying having her in our lives. It's amazing!

Lauren and Mathew have totally been blown away by how much they love they feel for this tiny niece of theirs. Believe me, Karina will have both of them wrapped around her delicate little finger!! LOL

Serena and Erin were able to be there for the labor and birth, thanks to some dedicated dads, EJ and Keith. Go Dads!! They were very thrilled to meet the newest member of the Bryan-Hannan framily!!

Well, there is a ton more I could say, but I really do need to get to work.... hehehe Thank you, God for your tremendous blessings!! My life is awesome because of you!
